Heliventures NZ based at the Oamaru Airport is looking for a Grade 1 or 2 Agricultural Pilot to join our growing team. We are a commercial and agricultural helicopter operation which services Otago, South Canterbury and the McKenzie Country. Our busy season is from August through to April with the Winter months usually being a bit quieter. It is essential you are keen for early starts, evening and weekend work especially during our busy season.

The successful applicant must have –

• CPL with a current medical

• Grade 1 or Grade 2 Agricultural rating

• NZ residency

Not essential but a bonus would be –

• Experience and ratings in AS350 B2 and B3, and MD 500 or 520N

• VTA rating with baiting experience

• Turbine rating

• Fire fighting experience

• Current Pilot Chemical Rating

• Class 2,4,5 drivers licence

• Dangerous Goods Endorsement

• Forklift Endorsement

• Current First Aid Certificate

The successful applicant must be –

• Safety conscious

• Keen to work

• Practical with common sense and able to use initiative

• Physically fit

• Friendly with a sense of humour and ability to get on well with work mates and clients

• A loyal team player with a positive attitude

• Able to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests

• Hold a full drivers licence with a good driving history

• No criminal record
