Chief Pilot – Helicopter (Agricultural)
Southland has it all on offer!
HeliOps Southland Ltd is an Agricultural Aerial Services provider, flying two R44 Raven IIs, an R22, a Bell LR206 and a Bell JR206 out of our base in Otautau, Western Southland.
On any given day our staff can be as far afield as Stewart Island, the Crown Range, Colac Bay and Edendale, and we are on the lookout for a new Chief Pilot to join us.
Most of our work is product delivery of agri-chemicals, gibberellic acids, liquid fertilisers, solid fertilisers, seeds, trace elements, and pelletised lime, using the TracMap© confirmation system. We also provide agricultural support with aerial stock control and mustering.
The best applicant has:
Already met, or can meet the CAA’s requirements for a Part 137 Senior Person
New Zealand CPL(H) and Grade 1 Agricultural rating
Class 1 medical & Pilot Chem rating (current)
Minimum 100 hours in each of the machines we run
Full NZ Drivers Licence – with DG endorsement
New Zealand citizenship, residency or work visa (required)
Some of the following would be helpful:
Previous experience as a CP
Instructor Rating
SMS training and knowledge
Computer competency
