Helitreck is an Australian owned company, with it’s main base located at Bankstown Airport. Operating a fleet of BK117 Helicopters and a UH1H Huey, on firefighting and charter operations.

We are currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Chief Pilot.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to leverage their managerial and flying experience. Strong communication skills, professionalism and maintaining the highest level of competency are essential for this role.

The successful applicant will need to meet or exceed the minimum requirements of CASA CAO 82.0 Appx 1, manage and be responsible for flight operation and crew.

Minimum requirements for the Chief Pilot position:

• CHPL

• 1500 hours pilot in command – incl 500 on turbine

• 100 hours on BK117 type

• 1000 hours firebombing/agricultural operations

• Low level endorsement

• Sling endorsement

• Fire endorsement

• Precision Long Line

• Dangerous Goods

• HUET

• NVFR

• CRM

• ASIC

• Drivers Licence

• Class 1 Medical

Previous experience as Chief Pilot, an Instructor Rating, Fixed wing licence and instrument rating would be an advantage.
