We're on the hunt for a qualified Helicopter Pilot who will ensure our customers are provided with an exceptional flight experience. This includes providing informative and entertaining commentaries whilst ensuring economic operation and management of the Helicopter.
Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters is the leading scenic heli-flight company in Aotearoa. Since the 1980's, we have flown guests from all over the world, offering a selection of daily scenic helicopter tours in and around Queenstown, Middle-earth, Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park & Mt Aspiring National Park.
Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters are Aotearoa's aerial film specialists working closely with Hollywood on such films as Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit trilogies, Vertical Limit, Narnia, King Kong, Wolverine, Walking with Dinosaurs, Pete's Dragon and much more!
We take great pride in warmly welcoming manuhiri (visitors) to our experiences. Manaakitanga (hospitality) is one of the core values that drives the way we do business. As hosts, we care for our customers and our team as our own whānau.
This is a permanent position based in Queenstown.
A little bit about you
We're after someone who:
Has a NZ CPLH qualification with over 2000 flying hours
Has a current class one unrestricted medical certificate
Can relate well with a wide range of people and entertain our customers with informative commentary
Is able to work shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
