About the Role:

Monday to Friday only

100K inculsive of super plus bonus

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Helicopter Pilot to be based our of our Avalon Airport base.

As one of our Line Helicopter Pilots you will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flights utilising LIDAR technology.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Extensive travel throughout regional Victoria

• Approx. 50/50 split between home base (Avalon) and remote bases

• Monday to Friday week cycle only – no weekend requirements

• Willing to relocate within 45 minutes of Avalon Airport

• Responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of operational flights

• Following company procedures with attention to detail

• Maintain company aircraft and base

Required skills and experience:

• Ability to accurately follow instructions

• Excellent computer skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excellent knowledge of Flight rules and Air law

• Excellent understanding of the different airspaces in Australia and the accompanying procedures

• Confidence in interpreting Meteorological conditions

• High understanding of Human Factors and the associated dangers

• Excellent decision-making skills

Education/Qualifications

• Year 12 Certificate – VCE or equivalent

• Commercial Helicopter Pilot License or higher

• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate with no Restrictions

• 2000 Hours Total Time Helicopters

• 1500 Hours as PIC SEH

• Low Level Endorsement & Proficiency

• 500 hours SEH Gas Turbine experience

• Current ASIC

• Current Dangerous Goods Certificate

• Current CASA DAMP

• Current Senior First Aid

Senior Line Pilot – Desirable qualifications:

• CRM experience

• Glass Cockpit Experience

• Bell 505 experience

• Remote Area Operational Experience

• LIDAR experience
