Pilot Required-PNG

Heli Niugini Ltd is a Papua New Guinea based Helicopter Company with operations throughout PNG. Our company specialises in oil and gas support, mining industry, precision construction, seismic and general charter operations. We provide extensive services to the resource and energy sectors as well as lifting support for various remote construction projects, operating Bell 407s & 407 Eagle, BK117D2 & Mil8.

We currently require full time touring (28 on/off) pilots who are experienced and proficient in long line precision and bush flying. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, successful applicants will be self-motivated, resilient and with a can-do attitude. We welcome expressions of interest from preferably CASA PNG licensed pilots who are type rated on 407's and BK117's however this is not a prerequisite. Candidates would ideally have bush & jungle experience and preferably extensive longline (30m +) skills & comfortable working at DA's exceeding 10k'. Precision external load placement skills are mandatory.

This is a touring position to PNG and will predominantly be based at remote field site locations. If you are resilient and prepared to rise to the challenging workload and environmental conditions, we would love to hear from you.

The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring helicopter is serviceable via clear communications with engineering, maintenance control

• Communicating directly on site with HNL clients regarding safe, achievable, realistic project targets.

• Operating helicopters safely, efficiently, with customer focus. Open dialogue with extended crew - loadmasters

• Timely communication with Madang Head Office, Management & Operations

Essential requirements:

• Precision external load placement skills - mandatory.

• Experience on Bell 407

• Experience on BK117 an advantage.

• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector and knowledge of OGP advantageous

• Previous experience as a remote base pilot an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience using aircraft maintenance computer tracking systems.

• Ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
