Pilot Required-NSW

Heli Surveys is a progressive utility helicopter company based in Jindabyne NSW, specialising in landcare management, fire-fighting and external load services. Heli Surveys is currently seeking an experienced Utility Helicopter Pilot for immediate start to fulfil this varied flying role. A primary function of the role will see the successful candidate undertake low level surveys, aerial shooting, precision aerial lifting and bucketing operations and as such will have proven ability in low level operations and vertical reference flying. They will be dispatched with our aircraft during bushfire, emergency response campaigns and other airwork activities around Australia and must be prepared to work away from home base for rostered periods.

This is a full time employment opportunity based in Jindabyne NSW, requiring the successful applicant to live in the Snowy Mountains region. This is not a touring role.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• CASA CPL(H);

• CASA Class 1 Medical;

• Type Rated - B206/L & AS350;

• Operational Ratings - Low Level (+Sling), Aerial Application FIRE (H);

• Current drivers licence (manual);

• Excellent driving history (traffic history report to be provided prior to commencement);

• Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC);

• HUET;

• CRM, Flying in the Wire Environment & Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificates;

• Display a strong commitment to safety;

• Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment;

• Ability to work in a team environment and embrace the company’s culture;

• Be punctual, well-presented with excellent communication skills (written and verbal);

Minimum Flying Experience:

• 2000 Hours PIC Helicopters

• 500 Hours Turbine

• 100 Hours on type - Both B206/L & AS350

• 500 Hours Low Level

• 300 Hours Long-Line

• 50 Hours Fire Experience

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Dogman/Riggers High Risk Work Licence

• R44 Rated

• Bell Medium Experience

• Ag Rating

• White Card

• First aid certificate

• Nil accident history.
