About the role

We are currently inviting applications from qualified Multi-Engine Helicopter Pilots. The opportunity is for a Bell 412 Line Pilot to fill a 12-month fixed-term vacancy at our Adelaide Base. Babcock MCS operates three Bell 412 helicopters in support of SA Ambulance Service and SA Police. As this is a Fixed Base position, successful applicants will be required to reside within a reasonable distance of the Adelaide Airport base.


About You The successful candidate must satisfy the following contract minimum qualifications and experience:

  • CASA ATPL

  • Class 1 Medical

  • Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and minimum 3 renewals

  • 2000+ hrs total helicopter

  • 1000+ hrs PIC helicopter

  • 400+ hrs PIC MEH, not including ICUS

  • 100+ hrs instrument flying time

  • 200+ hrs night

  • Bell 412 type rating and 100+ hrs experience on type

  • NVIS rating

  • Low-level rating with winch endorsement

  • Prior EMS/SAR/LE operational experience

The successful applicant will also require a SA Police clearance check and be fully vaccinated.
