Each year we carry our partners on more than 20,000 helicopter flights, making it possible for industries, essential services, and communities to operate and live in remote and difficult locations. We support a range of international businesses across New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia, Africa, and Europe.

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Flight Examiners to join our training team in anticipation of further expansion of our business within Australia during 2022. Successful applicants would preferably live in Western Australia, with relocation package being available. We anticipate the requirement to work a minimum of 195 days per annum on an agreed flexible working cycle for training and flight testing in both aircraft and simulator with occasional line flying duties.
Essential Criteria - Interested Pilots must have the following experience:
Licence: CASA or NZ ATPL (H) with Instrument Rating,
Role Experience: Extensive experience in either Offshore or Marine Pilot Transfer operations
Type Rating: Type Rated on one of: S92, AW139, A109, H145
Flight Instructor Rating: CASA FIR with Type Rating training endorsement on one of: S92, AW139, A109, H145, or NZCAA FIR: Category A or B with multi engine training approval.
Flight Examiner Rating: CASA FER with TR approval on either S92, AW139, A109 or H145, or NZCAA General Aviation or Airline Flight Examiner Rating.
3000 hours total time
1500 hours command & 1000 hours multi-engine
100 hours command on one of S92, AW139, A109, H145
Additional Desirable Criteria - One or more of the following qualifications are desirable but not essential:
CASA NVIS rating or NZ CAA NVG endorsement
CASA Low level Rating with Winch Endorsement
CASA FIR NVIS endorsement or NZ CAA NVG instructor approval
Simulator instructional experience
