Deputy Head of Operations-Queensland

Due to continued growth and internal staff progression, Aeropower is calling for expressions of interest for a Deputy Head of Operations to join our busy flying school based at Redcliffe Aerodrome, QLD. This position is set to commence in January or February 2022.

This position is a fixed base, fixed roster position with some weekend work and limited travel within Australia required. It would suit a Grade 1 instructor with previous leadership and wider aviation industry experience or an instructor who has previously held a CFI or HOO approval. Who is Aeropower?

CASA Grade 1 Flight Instructor Rating A high level of technical and theory knowledge Current DG Current Class 1 Medical Prior flight school or other management experience An in-depth knowledge of CASR Parts 141 and 61 and their application Highly desirable:

Flight Instructor Rating TE Previous HOO or CFI approvals Desirable:

Cabri G2 experience GTE LL TE DF TE NVFR Rating and NVFR TE Fight Examiner Rating Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
