We are seeking a co-pilot for the AW169 at our Whangārei rescue helicopter base. This varied role operates 24/7, including NVIS, VFR/IFR, and involves hoisting.

You will be someone with:
Minimum qualifications for our Co-Pilot:
NZ CPL (H)
Instrument Rating exam credit
Unrestricted Night rating
Desirable qualifications:
Instrument Rating (Aeroplane or Helicopter)
NVG experience
Hoist experience
HEMS experience
Required Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
IT literate
High level of knowledge of current aviation legislation
Experience of emergency service/relevant flight operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Carry out duties as a HEMS Co-Pilot in accordance with CAA requirements and the Northern Rescue exposition.
Remain aware of and advise where necessary on operational or legislative factors that affect HEMS operations.
Undertake aviation related duties on behalf of Northern Rescue.
Regular liaison with colleagues, HEMS crew, engineering and appropriate third parties.
Assist with operational and training requirements.
Maintain and demonstrate an active interest in the overall activities of NRHL and reflect the organization's vision, mission, and values in all communications with the public.
Be prepared to attend occasional promotional or fundraising events either as part of a team or as an individual to support and promote our activities.
