The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an AW139 Captain to join our team on a permanent full-time basis located in Toowoomba.

Pay and conditions are in accordance with the LifeFlight Australia Limited Rotary Wing Pilots’ Enterprise Agreement 2021 on Work Practice 1.

Tours to Roma or other operational bases throughout Queensland may be rostered by agreement from time to time.

About You

In support of our strong safety culture, minimum qualifications and experience limitations apply. To be eligible you must have the following:

Selection Criteria:

**You must have received, or be willing to receive, a COVID-19 Vaccination pre-employment.

Essential Criteria

  • ATPL (H)

  • CIR ME with minimum 3 renewals (IPCs)

  • NVFR(H)

  • NVIS Rating

  • Minimum 3000 hours rotary wing

  • 1500 hours PIC rotary wing

  • 1200 hours PIC ME turbine rotary wing

  • 100 hours Instrument Flight

  • 100 hours Night

  • Type Rating (AW139) with 100 hours minimum on type

  • Dangerous Goods Certificate

  • HUET/EBS Certified

  • Class 1 medical

  • strong communication skills

  • A safety first attitude

  • Located or prepared to be located at Toowoomba and able to meet the 30 minutes response time to the base

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism

  • Enthusiasm and a drive to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within aero-medical operations.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous EMS/SAR experience

  • B412 experience
