Helicopter Police/SAR/EMS Captains
Rotor-Lift Aviation operates the Tasmanian Government contract for Police/SAR/EMS operations. We also operate a Training Academy which pioneered NVG training in Australia and continues to provide NVIS, IFR and specialised training to both local and overseas clients.
Tasmania offers a great lifestyle and, at the same time, a scenic and challenging work environment. Rotor-Lift is looking for up to 3 experienced Police/SAR/EMS Captains to fulfil our growing rostering demands. Our preferred option is for pilots to be resident in Hobart, but we may consider touring conditions for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism and a quest to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within the Police/SAR/EMS aeromedical operations.

Must be legal to work in Australia.
Selection Criteria:
ATPL (H)
SAR / EMS experience
Class 1 Medical
CIR (H) (3 renewals/100 hours)
2,000 hours helicopter
1,000 hours PIC helicopter
400 hours M/E helicopter
100 hours NVFR (H)
50 hours NVIS experience
Winch endorsed
Current Dangerous Goods
Current HUET/EBS
Desirable Criteria:
Resident Hobart.
BK117 and/or B412 type rating.
Training and Checking background.
Glass cockpit/FMS experience.
NVIS rating may be offered to the right applicant
