GCH Aviation, owner/operators of Wellington Helicopters, the Nelson Marlborough and Canterbury West Coast Rescue Helicopters, the NZ Flying Doctors service, GCH UAV, The GCH Jet Centre (FBO), Kaikoura Helicopters, Vanuatu Helicopters and Pacific Island Air.... are looking for an experienced commercial pilot to join our team in our beautiful seaside Wellington Helicopters Base on Jervois Quay at Wellington Wharf.

GCH Aviation is family owned and there is lots of opportunity to be involved within the greater organisation and contribute in your own areas of interest. Remuneration will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant based on skills & experience.

Ideally we are looking for a pilot with;

Ratings in EC120/130, AS350, BK117 or similar multi engine types.

A strong commercial background. At least a total of 3500 flying hours PIC helicopters

External Load precision 100’ minimum long line experience.

Fire-fighting experience.

Experience/willing to also complete passenger work, scenic flights etc.

You need to be fit and healthy to meet the demands of the job.

Hold a valid NZ CAA Class 1 medical certificate.

Able to work as part of a small tight-knit team, have a great sense of humour and be reasonably flexible.

Able to pass NZCAA/ Aviation security/ Police checks

Willing to work shiftwork in accordance with the Company Flight & Duty and Fatigue Management Schemes including on Public Holidays and weekends. Advantageous • HUET • CRM
