Chief Pilot – Rotary Wing, Asia Pacific
We are currently recruiting a chief pilot for an Asia Pacific rotary wing aviation business. This is a great opportunity for someone to forge a career in a dynamic fast paced company.
The chief pilot role requires a highly professional individual who is a natural leader, has the highest integrity and builds/motivates teams to perform at their highest level on a consistent basis.
Reporting to the CEO, The Chief Pilot is a key member of the Flight Operations team. They are a CASA/FAA or similar regulatory body approved person, with his/her core responsibility being the management of the business’s aviation AOC, and the safety and efficiency of all operational flight activities for a diverse fleet of rotary wing machines.
The Chief Pilot will ensure compliance with the Civil Aviation Act, CASRs, CARs, CAOs and any written conditions imposed on the company by CASA/FAA or similar. In addition to providing oversight to all regulatory functions, the Chief Pilot will also be responsible for training and leading a team of line pilots. The Chief Pilot will schedule and coordinate all team activities including on-boarding, training, and continuing education seminars that promote safety and operational excellence.
We are looking for a chief pilot who whilst possessing the above experience and attributes, also has patience in abundance, unwavering diplomacy and respect in their employer.
The preference is for someone to take this role on a residential basis, but a touring rotation would be considered.
Experience in a combination of B407 / 212 / 206, AW139, H145 & BK117’s is essential, as is long line and altitude flying.
