Due to expansion of our client base, Aeropower is seeking applications from experienced Helicopter Pilots for field-based touring roles nationwide. The minimum requirements for this position are:
Proven safety record
Excellent understanding of WHS regulations and requirements
Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and aviation management systems (e.g. Air Maestro)
Good communication skills
CASA CPL (H)
2,500 hours total time PIC (helicopter), or 2,000 hours total time PIC w/ 500 hours turbine (helicopter)
500 hours low level (helicopter)
Highly desirable skills / experience:
Powerline experience
Aerial firefighting experience
Flying in the wire & CRM training delivered in the last 2 years
200 hours PIC on MD500 and/or AS350
100 hours of powerline washing
50 hours of firebombing
Right to work in Australia
Desirable skills / experience:
150 hours of precision slinging / vertical reference
50 hours of powerline stringing
Human external cargo experience
Twin experience
A Grade 2 or above flight instructor rating (helicopter) with design feature rating
UETTDRRF01 - Apply ESI safety rules, codes of practice and procedures for work on or near electrical apparatus (or equivalent)
CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry / construction industry white card (or equivalent)
HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (or equivalent)
UETTDRRF10 - Provide first aid in an ESI environment (or equivalent)
UETTDRRF09 - Apply access procedures to work on or near electrical network infrastructure (or equivalent)
Australian driver licence
