INSTRUCTOR / SENIOR HELICOPTER PILOT

Full Time Australian Helicopter Academy is a specialised helicopter flight training facility located in Kununurra, Western Australia. Affiliated with HeliSpirit, Australian Helicopter Academy provides Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training. Training is conducted alongside the day to day operations of HeliSpirit, with students gaining a first-hand insight into one of Australia’s most successful and exciting helicopter businesses now in its 35th year of operation. Australian Helicopter Academy is looking for an experienced helicopter pilot with a Grade 1 Instructor Rating to join our growing operation. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with a strong focus on safety and providing a high level of customer service. The right candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment and be able to work unsupervised. The role will also include flying charter and aerial work with HeliSpirit. Essential Qualifications / Experience Required

• You must have the right to live and work full time in Australia to apply for this position.

• Australian CPL(H)

• Current Class 1 Australian Medical

• Grade 1 Instructor Rating or Grade 2 Instructor Rating close to meeting the Grade 1 requirements

• 2,000 hours total

• 100 hours minimum R44

• Low Level Rating

• Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate

• HUET

• CRM

• First Aid Certificate

• Drivers Licence

Desirable

• Bush experience including confined area landings and low level operations

• 500 hours turbine

• 100 hours B206

• Sling load experience
