Helicopter Pilot: Marine Pilot Transfer (MPT)-Victoria

The Aviator Group is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Helicopter Pilot to join our flight operations team in Melbourne (Avalon).

The Aviator Group has established itself as a leading provider of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia. We also undertake Search and Rescue (SAR), executive charter and utility services to a diverse customer base. Aviator operates from bases at Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Melbourne and Port Hedland with additional bases planned soon.

To be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience.

Experience Requirements:

• CPL/ATPL(H)

• 2000 hours helicopter

• 500 hours turbine helicopter

• 100 PIC hours Multi Engine helicopters

• 50 hours night

• Current IPC (MECIR) helicopter with minimum of three renewals

• Low Level Rating with winch endorsement

Desirable Experience Attributes:

• BK117 type rating

• Single Pilot IFR experience

• Offshore experience

• Marine Pilot Transfer (MPT) experience

• Vessel underway deck landings

• Low level – live winching experience

The candidate must be an Australian Resident and has the ability to hold and maintain ASIC/MSIC.

This is a Melbourne (Avalon) based position that allows flexible working arrangements and a great working environment, offered together with an attractive remuneration package. Suitable candidates must live within must live within a 60 minute drive of Avalon airport.
