Auriga Aviation is currently inviting expressions of interest from experienced and suitably qualified Helicopter Flight Instructors to become part of our flight operations team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality flying operations within a company that champions safety, innovation, and excellence in a rapidly growing aviation landscape.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Flight Instructor, you’ll apply your expertise in real-world operational contexts through both simulator and line training activities. You will deliver advanced ground and flight training across a range of specialist areas, including multi-engine operations, Night VFR, Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), Night Vision, Instructor Ratings, and other endorsements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
CASA CPL/ATPL (H)
Class 1 medical
Instrument Rating
NVFR
Instrument training endorsement
MEH training endorsement (ideally on at least one aircraft listed in EX49/22)
CASR 61 Flight Instructor Rating (FIR)
2500 hours helicopter
1500 hours command (PIC) helicopter
500 hours PIC multi-engine turbine helicopter
Desirable Operational Ratings and Experience
Grade 2 Instructor Rating
Low Level Helicopter (LL-H)
NVIS Rating
NVFR training endorsement
NVIS training endorsement
Sling training endorsement
Winch training endorsement
Sling Rating
Importantly, you’ll also play a key mentoring role—guiding and supporting pilots as they develop their skills, confidence, and professionalism throughout their training journey.
Pilots are required to hold an ASIC and MSIC for the duration of their employment.
Applicants must be able to live and work in Australia.
