Following  the decision by the Australian Government to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia  has established a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the initial procurement and ongoing sustainment activities.

We are pleased to invite applications for the position of UH-60M Senior Flight Instructor to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based in Oakey.


Your responsibilities will include:


Your role is to operate as a UH-60M Contractor Instructor Pilot and Qualified Flying Instructor conducting any/all syllabus events conducting UH-60M Program Learning Management Package (LMP) events including ground school activities, training device (CPT, FTD) instruction and UH-60M airborne instruction.


As an instructor you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to ab-initio and post-graduate pilot instruction, and also able to provide applicable courseware content development and instructor guide material development support.


About you:


To be successful it is essential you demonstrate the following: 


• Previously qualified ADF, or recognised, rotary wing pilot

• Completed a recognised QFI course on an equivalent type/platform

• Extensive knowledge of ADF rotary wing pilot/aircrew training qualifications and currency requirements


Desirable:


• Previous UH-60/S-70 pilot qualification

• Military flying experiencewithin the last five (5) years.


Special Requirements:


Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
