We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from highly experienced and qualified Multi-Engine IFR Rotary Wing Pilots with specific expertise in marine and ship-based operations, to become a part of our Rotary Wing team based in Newcastle, NSW. We are seeking a dynamic and progressive team player who thrives on challenges and excels in a demanding, high-tempo operational environment.
What Will I Be Doing?
Reporting directly to the Rotary Wing Head of Flying Operations & Head of Operations, you will be supporting them by:
Conducting multi-engine IFR rotary wing operations in the marine environment
Performing ship deck landings and associated maritime tasking
Conducting Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) operations
Maintaining precise operational and flight records
Participating in ongoing operational readiness and currency requirements
Supporting continuous improvement in rotary wing pilot operations

We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have:
Minimum Requirements:
CASA CPL(H)
Night VFR qualification with proficiency on VOR, ADF, and GPS
CASA Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating (MECIR)
Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating
1,500+ total flying hours — Rotary Wing
1,000+ hours PIC — Rotary Wing
500+ hours PIC — Turbine
50+ flying hours on type (EC135)
100+ hours PIC Night Flight, with a minimum of 50 hours flown under NVIS
HUET / EBS
Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Ship/deck landing experience — minimum 10 ship landings by day
Ship/deck landing experience by night
Willingness to relocate to the Newcastle/Hunter Valley NSW region
