This role offers a variety of commercial and agricultural flying and is suited to a someone with strong experience.
Our operation combines agricultural flying with a wide variety of commercial helicopter work throughout the South Island including:
Aerial spraying
Fertiliser application & seeding
External load lifting & construction
Remote site operations
Firefighting support
Electrical & telecommunications construction work
Conservation Support
Operating Airbus AS350B2 & B3+ Squirrels and a MD500D aircraft, Anderson Helicopters has built a strong reputation for practical, professional helicopter operations across the West Coast and throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for someone who has:
External Load experience with long-line up to 200ft.
Has solid agricultural helicopter experience - Agricultural spraying, fertiliser application (bucket operations)
Can operate safely and efficiently in demanding environments
Works well within a small professional team
Is practical, self-motivated, positive attitude and easy to work with
Takes pride in aircraft, equipment and presentation
Understands that good client relationships matter
Minimum Requirements are:
Class 1 Medical
1,500 hrs Pilot in Command Experience
500 hrs Turbine Experience
AS350 Rating / 100 hrs on type
Ag Rating – Minimum Grade 2, Grade 1 Preferred
External load / lifting work – 100ft Long-line Experience
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
MD500 Rating
Controlled Substance Licence
Fire operations
Remote area flying & bush operations
Mountain Flying experience
Drill Rig Move experience
Tabula Ag GPS experience
