About the role
We have two exciting opportunities for a Captain / Co-pilot, we have both Full time and casual opportunities available, to join our dynamic team in New Plymouth.
If you are a dedicated captain or co-pilot that is looking to enhance every aspect of your flying, then we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for ensuring the completion of flights as scheduled in a safe and timely manner by collaborating with your crew and other team members.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot you will play a pivotal role in the success of the flight planning optimisation.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Flight planning, Pre-flight inspections and checks, postflight reporting
Completing non-flying activities such as facility housekeeping
Contributing to the overall success of the operation through collaboration with the rest of the team.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Sound knowledge and understanding of aviation
Captain total hour requirements:
Total time- Helicopter: 3000 hours
PIC – helicopter: 1500 hours
PIC – multi engine helicopter: 1200 hours
Co-pilot total hour requirements:
Total time- Helicopter: 500 hours
New Zealand helicopter instrument rating
AW139 Type rating
New Zealand CPL
New Zealand ATPL (desirable)
Offshore flying experience (desirable)
