Deputy Chief Pilot-Cairns

As part of the rapidly expanding, publicly listed 'Experience Co' Group of companies (ASX:EXP) - GBR Helicopters, based in Cairns, Far North Queensland, is a thriving aviation business, with a reputation for excellence and an unrivalled safety record in the delivery of tourism experiences and commercial helicopter charter services across a diverse range of industry sectors.

Employing over 70 staff, the company operates a large, modern fleet of more than twenty aircraft, from operational bases including Cairns, the Torres Strait, Port Douglas and Mareeba.

GBR Helicopters is currently seeking a Senior Pilot for its growing Flying Operations team based in Cairns, with a view to their appointment as Deputy Chief Pilot.

The successful candidate will meet all of the mandatory requirements listed below, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, be a capable administrator with strong IT skills and be able to pass CASA Chief Pilot exams within 3 months of commencement. Minimum Qualifications:

• 3,000+ hours TT

• AS350, B206/B206L / R44 endorsements (min 500 hours on each type)

• Low level (min 500 hours)

• Sling (min 50 hours)

• NVFR rating (min 50 hours)

• Current ASIC, HUET and DG

• Australian Citizen or resident.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous Chief Pilot experience

• Instructor Rating (Grade 2 or higher)

• Marine Pilot Transfer experience

• 'Over Water' experience

• EC120 rating

• R66 rating
